Michele Presley is an award winning writer and marketing communications pro with an M.A. in English Literature from Georgetown University--who also just happens to be a Certified Matchmaker. As VP of Sales and Marketing at Tawkify, Michele leads our efforts to understand the romantic wish-lists of our clients and provide solutions that will spark and simplify their love lives. Michele covers The Heart Beat, primarily exploring the landscape of pop-cultural love tropes and how - unexamined - they distance us from true connection with ourselves and others, and can influence the most personal of our choices.
Valerie Presley Ackler
Valerie is the Editor of Heartalytics and authors the Love Wisely series.
The "hawkish" shot is your first clue: there's more to this girl than meets the eye. Valerie's a conundrum who fosters wounded wild animals, paints, writes, and loves Historical Fiction - think The Tale of Two Cities meets Gone With the Wind meets Night Circus - but she also bagged a degree in business, excelling in statistics and mathematics. Her professional background is in technology and politics--working for the United States Senate and the original Political Action Committee in Washington, DC.
She's lived all over the United States- from the East to West coast and has spent more than half her life in the south, thus developing an appreciation for equally dichotomous types who are one part progressive and artsy to another part mannerly and polite with a tinge of traditional - a tall order in contemporary dating culture.
Interested in writing about the type of love that isn't hell-bent on making your romantic connections harder than they have to be, Valerie's squarely in the "no virtue in tolerating toxic behavior" camp. Amen to that, ya'll.
Valerie currently lives in Houston, Texas with her husband, Jeffrey Ackler. In addition to leading Heartalytics, she guides Tawkify's digital presence from social media to email marketing.
Eve sprinkles Heartalytics with periodic musings & inspiration.
Eve will teach you how to have an Affair to Remember. Whether you're Sleepless in Soho or singing "Ain't no Sunshine" down the streets of Cobble Hill, Eve believes your love life should be no less than the rom-com of your dreams. As an Ivy-educated film studies graduate and survivor of fashion's school of hard knocks, Eve thinks of herself as a stylist of the psyche. She approaches matchmaking and writing like a cinematic art. She will ghostwrite you an old school (albeit unorthodox) romance fit for modern times.
So with passion, empathy, and imagination in abundance, Eve is on a mission to help souls mate. She encourages you to be a feeler and to have an open heart--you never know who can make you feel that zsa zsa zsu!
Cora Boyd is an alumni of the illustrious Hillary Duff's school of "Why Not." With a positivity that some have deemed obnoxious and others have deemed enchanting, Cora is a lifelong student of social psychology, human dynamics, and seeing what shenanigans she can get away with.
As a matchmaker, she fuses her background in writing, comedy, and travel with her ukulele-strumming-pixie-dream-girl spirit to find meaning in the madness and madness in the meaning.
You can catch Cora in New Orleans and other corners of the globe listening to poor quality reggaeton, drinking high quality Belgian IPAs, and complaining about the Gilmore Girls revival.
Amaris authors the Work-Love Balance series on Heartalytics.
Amaris is as shrewd in love as she is in business. As a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with The Corcoran Group and a Matchmaker with Tawkify, she is constantly balancing multiple spinning plates as the Real Estate Matchmaker.
"The agility required to be a matchmaker and navigate the real estate industry are remarkably similar," she says. "On any given day, I shift from confidant, to concierge, to counsel for my clients... And in many cases, I find myself playing all three roles at the same time!"
This native New Yorker and former Big Four management consultant, will teach you how to make "work-love balance" as much of a priority as everything else in your busy life.
Eric's inquisitive mind is always searching for methods to the madness of our temporal existence. As an engineer for Tawkify, Eric spends his days building tools to facilitate better insights about people's romantic preferences and motivations. The desire to connect the (universal) dots of humanity has driven Eric around the world to explore diverse cultural definitions of fulfillment, sensibility, and purpose and to cogitate objective, holistic explanations for physical and emotional phenomena - such as love - in all of our lives.
Olivia Balsinger, AKA the Carrie Bradshaw of Travel, is an avid travel blogger and self-proclaimed wanderluster, and she has fallen in love (many times over) with the world and the people who occupy it. Olivia believes that multiple belly laughs, a dose of sexual attraction, a smidge of quirkiness, and a touch of spontaneity combine to create lasting bonds.... bonds that prove the whole "fairytales are made up" thing wrong. Endearingly nicknamed "Oh-Live-It-Up," this Nutmeg-er turned New Yorker will analyze your likes, dislikes, aspirations, and even your past to set you up on creative and engaging dates.

Evyenia, pen name "Ferocious," authors the Bedtime Stories series on Heartalytics.
Ferocious has been telling stories since she was a wee tot, bringing the goings on of her mind and heart (real, or imagined) to life through word, music, film and theater. She feels that there is no bigger connector between two people, than to share and express thoughts, emotions, and ideas through story, touch, and song. Being a Tawkify matchmaker has continued to provide her with daily inspiration, causing her to explore and reflect on the notion of romantic love, the fluidity of relationships, and what it means to be human. Sometimes her tales may be light hearted and warm, sometimes they may cause you to step back and think. Whatever the case may be, she hopes you enjoy a pause from your day to get lost in another world, and in doing so, learn more about the world around you.
Whatever you do, do with passion and purpose. As a born and raised New Yorker, Kristina Cappuccilli has lived by this standard from the moment she put a pen to paper.
Coupled with her incessant thirst for travel, befriending strangers wherever she goes, and living by the mantra that every day is a new adventure to embark on, it comes as no surprise that her relationships are the source of what drives her writing.
People inspire her every day, through their backgrounds and experiences, their trials and triumphs; the realization that everyone, everywhere, has a story. She considers it a blessing to learn something new, something refreshing, something inspiring. And that's what she wants her career (and writing) to do - give people a reason to wake up every day and feel inspired.
Diana is a globetrotting communications monger who gets a high off bridging gaps. She is continually fascinated by how people reach through their own realities to express meaning to each other. After graduating from UC Berkeley in Anthropology and Arabic and living next to Egypt's Tahrir Square, she came to the conclusion government programs were not the best way to connect people across cultures. She returned to the Bay Area and has been working at various startups in sales, user testing, operations design, branding and product development ever since. At Tawkify, she is responsible for getting you through the gates of uncertainty and on to the journey of love. In her spare time, she also has two "hobby" side businesses: organic cupcakes and obsessively natural e-cigarette liquid. And, if she's not in Europe or camping in the Sierra Nevada, she might even belly dance at your wedding.
"I'm a rolling stone, but not in the Temptations way. Though my journeys always end up encountering something delightful and perhaps even a little tempting. From the Arizona desert to the Mountains of Vermont, I have definitely sojourned to meet a partner or to live with them. Dating in different cities is like navigating that first kiss. Every time is simultaneously exciting, awkward and adventurous. Wayfaring Dater is here to help guide you through the culture, best date places and where to meet singles in different cities across the globe."
When Misty is not matchmaking or writing about love, she's writing about sustainable travel and has a YouTube channel called, Green Suitcase Travel.

Boon authors the Internet Yenta series for Heartalytics.
Alene Boon grew up on the internet. As a nerd and a dork, and an occasional geek, Boon didn’t get much love at school. It was her family’s Macintosh WGS that housed all her early romantic and sexual interactions. Thanks to her parents' warnings against internet predators, her first IRL meetup didn’t happen until college. Within a few months of arriving on campus, Boon found herself disappointed by a dearth of queer ladies, and started an OkCupid account. She was fascinated by the identities she discovered in the profiles there, and by how different they all seemed IRL. In rapid turns wrenchingly raw and as alienating as a brick wall, this modern love dance immediately enthralled her. Boon’s been ferociously entrenched in online dating ever since. She now runs her own accounts, a handful of her family and friends’ accounts, and a host of accounts she’s made for clients.
